Each year, Black Hills & Badlands Tourism Association presents a Special Achievement Award that recognizes a person, event, organization, or business that has made a significant impact on the Black Hills and Badlands region’s tourism economy.
On October 30, 2019, Prairie Berry Winery was presented with the 2019 Special Achievement Award for being the trailblazer of the Black Hills Wine and Craft Movement.
The Black Hills & Badlands Tourism Association recognized Prairie Berry Winery specifically because, “…the winery has achieved their goal of creating a “unique South Dakota experience” for the last 20 years, cementing Black Hills culture and flavor in the minds of millions.”
