This refreshing blend of autumn flavors pairs the semi-sweet tartness of our holiday favorite, Cranberry wine, with citrus and cinnamon.
Makes 6-8 servings.
- 1 bottle Cranberry wine
- 3 cups lemon-lime or grapefruit soda
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon simple syrup, to taste (recipe below)
- Orange peel and cranberries (for garnish)
In a glass with ice, fill half with Cranberry wine and half with soda. Add cinnamon simple syrup, stir, and garnish with orange peel and cranberries.
This recipe can scale up easily and makes a great punch.
Cinnamon Simple Syrup recipe
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of white sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
Bring water and sugar to a boil. Remove from heat and add cinnamon sticks. Allow the mixture to infuse for 10-15 minutes.
Chill before combining with the wine.
